Free and open source
Everything Rockfrog makes is free and open-source software. You can use it for any purpose, read and change its code, and share it, with or without your changes. Once a version is released under an open-source license, that license can’t be taken back.
Your work stays yours. Chattering keeps your conversations and files on your own computer. There is no Rockfrog account, no advertising, and nothing to sell about you.

Rockfrog’s mission is to give everyone the best experience to think, learn and create with AI, anywhere, with software they are free to use, study, change and share.
Rockfrog was started by Maxime Rivest. He builds open-source AI tools and shows them working in short videos. His two posts about the Riddle diary were viewed 3.7 million times on X in July 2026, and his GitHub projects have over 3,500 stars. Follow his work on X, YouTube and GitHub.
